School-level Awareness Programmes
poster designed to raise awareness about Improved Cookstoves Recognizing the role of education systems and school community in disseminating knowledge and information relevant to public interest, schools have been identified as potential avenues to conduct awareness programmes. Therefore, 30 teachers from 20 different schools in Lalitpur and Udayapur have been capacitated through training of teachers (ToTs) programmes on RETs’s role in women empowerment, socioeconomic and environmental development. A school-level awareness program was conducted in nine different schools of five districts: Lalitpur (2), Khotang (1), Udayapur (3), Dhading (2) and Kavre(1) districts.
